“In the course of my career, having worked closely with private undertakings, public institutions and nonprofit entities, I’ve had the opportunity to observe how an efficient cooperation between the public and private sectors is able to disclose a potential that would otherwise remain inaccessible. However, I also realised how easy it is for the results to be undermined by the complexity that is inherent to all the interactions between public and private parties, which are often subjected to different levels of limitation and sometimes bear divergent (or even conflicting) interests. I feel that the effectiveness of this cooperation could be significantly improved by developing a sound conceptual framework and a broader array of legal tools and I’m confident that the research work carried out by AEPPP will provide a meaningful contribution towards these purposes”.
